Welcome to the 4th International Workshop on Wireless Local Networks (WLN) 2004 which is being held jointly with the 29th Annual IEEE Conference on Local Computer Networks (LCN) 2004, and welcome to Tampa/Florida! Apart from your participation at the workshop and the conference, we hope you will find some spare time to explore the wonderful area of Tampa Bay and the (hopefully) nice weather at the sea.
